Patricia Ann Perry, age 80 of Decherd, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2026, unexpectedly at her residence. She was born in California on August 19, 1946, to the late Charles Spears and Eleanor (Short) Spears. When Patricia was around five years old, her family moved to Tennessee. She was an Air Force wife, traveling with her husband, Gary, to different bases he had been assigned for duty. In 1981, they returned home to Tennessee where Patricia worked for Lanier and later retired from CKR. A country gal, in her leisure time she enjoyed boating and camping, as well as working in her garden and watching hummingbirds. She was an avid reader, enjoying all genres, and enjoyed watching western tv shows and movies. Most of all, Patricia cherished the time spent with her beloved family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Billy Jo Spears, David Spears, Lena Richmond. Patricia is survived by her loving children, Ray (Tammy) Perry, Gary Wayne (Melanie) Perry, Chuck (Donna) Perry, and Michael (Mindy) Perry; grandchildren, Christopher Perry, Heather Perry, Trent (Ayumi) Perry, Jake Perry, Nathan Perry, Corey (Alex) Perry, Ashley (Adam) Bock, Eli Perry, and Clint Perry; six great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5-8pm on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at Franklin Memorial Gardens.
