Norman Dale Daily, 76, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2026 at Helen Keller Hospital in Sheffield, AL. He was born June 12, 1950 in Tishomingo, MS to Travis and Euple Mann Daily. He was a member of Dennis First Baptist Church in Dennis, MS and was a 32nd degree Mason. He worked at Norman’s Body Shop where he enjoyed fixing up vehicles, he delivered gas for L & L Propane and later worked at Sunshine Mills before he retired. His favorite pastime was spent with his grandchildren and watching them play ball.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 16, 4 p.m. at New Union Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Dexter Ashley and Bro. Randy Hargett officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, 2-4 p.m. at New Union Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in Old Union Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by three sons, Trent Fowler, Heath Daily (Jacki) and Chris Daily (Jessica); four grandchildren, Natalie Storment (Drent), Baylor Storment (Makayla), Xzaviar Daily and Kingston Daily; one brother, Johnny Keith Daily (Deloris); one sister, Sandra Wood-Jinkins (Bill) and three nephews, Josh Daily, Corey Wood (Haley) and Lee Wood (Amanda).
He was preceded in death by his wife, Trena Daily; his parents; niece, Hope Daily and a grandchild, Baby D.
Pallbearers will be Xzaviar Daily, Baylor Storment, Lee Wood, Corey Wood, Josh Daily and Drent Robbins.
Honorary pallbearers will be Kingston Daily and Johnathan Gasaway.
