Ella Sue Daily, 79, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2026 at her residence. She was born in Alabama to Olen Edward “Bo” Elliott and Maedell Beatrice Cosby Elliott. She was a member of Highland Baptist Church. She had worked in Sunflower in Tishomingo for 49 years and greeting everyone with a smile and kindness. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and a friend to many.
Funeral services will be Monday, September 14, 2 p.m. at Highland Baptist Church with Bro. Mark Daily officiating. Visitation will be 11-2 at the church. Burial will be in Forest Grove Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by two daughters, Carla Daily Bennett and Katrina Daily Ford (John); one son, Mark Daily (Kim); grandchildren, Cara Pollan (James), Cate Dennis (Austin), Jon-Mark Daily (Callie), Madison Daily, Eli Edwards (Skylar) and Luke Edwards; great-grandchildren, Swayze, Harper, Maddox, Ava James, Knox, Easton and Collins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kary Daily; her parents; a host of siblings and son-in-law, Donnie Bennett.
Pallbearers will be James Pollan, Austin Dennis, Jon-Mark Daily, Eli Edwards, Luke Edwards and Lance Hollingworth.
