Danny was a 1976 graduate of Douglas High School. He dedicated many years of his life to serving his community as a police officer with the Albertville Police Department, where he later retired. He was a member of Rose Road Church of God.
Danny is survived by his wife of 50 years, Connie Harvey; brother, Larry Harvey; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Nellie Jo Harvey, and his brother, Jimmy Jo Harvey.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2026. Visitation will be held at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Whiton Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, with Bro. Lewis Smith officiating.
