Reba J. Lewis, 95, of Scottsboro, AL, passed away on September 9, 2026. Reba was born on August 28, 1931 to Maude and Dewey James in Scottsboro, AL. She was a lifelong member of Randall’s Chapel Church, Jackson County Master Gardener Association, and a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She held passions for baking, gardening, and a flare for fashion and interior design. Reba was known to always have an ongoing project involving these passions.
Reba was preceded in death by her parents, Maude and Dewey James, sisters, Joy Arnold and Linda Kay James, husband, O.C Lewis., daughter, Teresa Davis, grandchildren, Max and Kathryn Davis, and great grandchildren Abigail Shaver and Blake Davis. She is survived by her sister, Gail Word (Jake Word), daughter and son-in-law Leslie and Robert Shaver Jr., grandchildren, Robert Davis (Chasity Davis), Erik Davis (Jennifer Davis), Anna Kate Terpo (Bill Terpo), and Emilie Shaver, along with numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at Pinehaven Memorial Gardens in Hollywood, AL on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at 11 a.m.. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude’s Hospital in Reba’s name.
