Dwayne Andrew Apache, age 64, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 4, 2026, in Jackson, Tennessee. He was born on May 12, 1962, in Manchester, New Hampshire.
Dwayne proudly served his country in the United States Army, dedicating 21 years of his life to the Engineering Battalion before retiring from military service. He greatly enjoyed his time in the Army and was proud of the work he accomplished in service to his country.
Dwayne was a true perfectionist who liked things done his way and took great pride in doing things right. He was very helpful to others and could do just about anything he set his mind to—a true jack of all trades. He was an especially talented carpenter and took pride in his ability to build, repair, and create. Those who knew him appreciated his willingness to lend a hand and his many skills.
Dwayne cherished the people he worked with and was especially grateful for helpful and supportive coworkers throughout his career. He enjoyed the simple comforts of life, including spending time with his beloved cats. He was a proud American who loved his country and valued the experiences and friendships he gained throughout his life.
Dwayne is survived by his father, Don Apache; his brother, Ken Apache and wife, Sheryl; and his sister, Donna Apache.
He was preceded in death by his mother, JoAnn Apache.
Dwayne will be remembered for his dedication, independence, helpful nature, practical talents, love of country, and the many lives he touched along the way. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, coworkers, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
