Charlotte Diane Sanders, 76, of Empire, passed away September 8, 2026. A funeral service will be held at 3:00pm, Thursday, September 10 at New Horizon Chapel., Burial will follow in New Horizon Memorial Gardens.
Diane was preceded in death by her husband Norman Sanders, which she adored.
She is survived by her children James Hicks, Lisa Freeman, Dewayne Hicks, Lisa Belcher, grandchildren Jammie (Gustavo) Martinez and Tiffany Freeman, great grandchildren Shylo Martinez, Isaiah Martinez, and Rylee Martinez, brothers Phillip Doss, Andy Doss and sister Virginia Lemley. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews and a special friend Emily Weldon.
Diane was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved Jesus Christ. She could often be found studying her Bible.
