Jack Edwin Wood, Jr., age 79 of Crossville Alabama, passed away on Thursday September 3, 2026. He was a retired maintenance supervisor for a local Birmingham bakery.
He is survived by his daughter, Chrissy Waddell; son, Joey Wood; several grandchildren; siblings, Shirley Deavours (Jack), Donna Harris (Joe), and Gary Wood (Nada).
Graveside services will be held on Saturday September 12, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Good Hope Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home, 205-648-2323, is directing.
