Robert Aaron Adams, born January 10, 1966, to the late Robert and Wilma Adams, passed away on September 3, 2026.
Robert was the proud owner of Adams Used Cars for 34 years. Over the years, his business became an important part of his life and a reflection of his hard work and dedication. Outside of work, Robert enjoyed hunting, attending turkey shoots, and racing. He especially enjoyed the time spent with the people he loved and the friendships he made throughout his life.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Adams; son, Lee Adams and his girlfriend, Maxie Hackey, and her children, Heavenleigh Newman, Layla Newman, and Emerly Newman; sister, Diane A. (Travis) Morton; brother-in-law, Bud Marbut; special friends, James Bolton and Jeffery Walker; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
In addition to his parents, Robert and Wilma Adams, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Judy Marbut and Donna Adams.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Hospice, Southside Cancer Center in Huntsville, and all of the doctors and nurses who cared for Robert during his illness. Your care, kindness, and compassion are deeply appreciated.
Funeral services for Robert will be held Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at New Welcome Church Cemetery in Altoona.
