Michael Vance Stephenson, age 62, passed away at Regional Medical Center on August 27, 2026. He is survived by his daughter, Ashlee Anna Stephenson, sister, Karen Godsey ( John), nephew Nathan Stephenson, niece Elizabeth Godsey and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Ann Stephenson, brother David Stephenson, grandparents Odis and Inez Stephenson, Steve and Catherine Stephens, aunts Glenda Beck, Sheri Hudgins and cousin Christopher Beck.
Michael was a graduate from Anniston High School. He was a talented singer, song writer and musician. After graduation, he moved to Nashville and joined the cast of Opryland USA for many years. He was in many bands as well as a solo artist. He true passion was music.
A private service for family will be scheduled at a later time.
