Funeral service for Troy Dean Cannon, age 65, of Decatur, will be 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Caudle officiating. Mr. Cannon, who died Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born July 26, 1961, in Alabama to Roger Barton Cannon and Martha Ann Ferguson Gossett. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Donna Cannon.
He is survived by his son, Justin Cannon; sister, Rachel Goodwin (Steve); and nieces, Lindsay Peluso (Gabe) and Reagan Goodwin.
