Betty Ruth Atkins, age 87 of Jasper, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 along with her husband Jerry Don Atkins at Cordova Health and Rehabilitation.
The family will receive friends on Friday, September 4, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery. Don Graham will officiate.
Mrs. Atkins was preceded in death by her Parents-Gurley Townley and Lottie Townley; Brother-Billy Townley; Sister-Brenda Allison.
She is survived by her Sons-Kevin Atkins (Ginger) and Gary Atkins; Sisters-Rita Townley and Allie Townley; 5 Grandchildren; 7 Great Grandchildren; Host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers will be Bryant Atkins, John Williams, Daryl Rushing, Jerry Harbin, Michael Allison, Banyon Allison, Chris Caldwell, Terry Harbin and Kyle Harbin.
