Photo of Glenda Joyce Ragsdale Glenda J. Ragsdale, 79, of Cullman, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2026, at Woodland village, in Cullman Alabama. Glenda was born on June 9, 1947, to Oliver and Myrtle James. She loved going to church and spending time visiting with family and friends. In her spare time, Glenda enjoyed making jewelry. One of her favorite things to do was take car rides through the forest, enjoying the beauty of nature. Glenda will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends for her love of family, her faith, and the special memories she created with those she loved. Her memory will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Visitation will be September 04, 2026 at Bellview Heights Baptist Church in Jones Chapel at 11:00 AM until 1:00PM with service to follow at 1:00PM. Burial will be at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Cullman, AL. Brother Randy Milligan will officiate. Glenda is survived by her sons, Dale Ragsdale and Kevin Ragsdale; daughter, Felicia Aleman; and twelve grandchildren: Megan (Josh) Carpenter, Britney Denton, Sara Denton, Anna (Kyle) Sansing, Roman (Kimberly) Robinson, Holli (Christopher) Mattox, Austin (Katelyn) Aguero, Reno Aguero, Eric Speegle, Whitney Ragsdale, James Ragsdale, and Kacie Ragsdale. She is also survived by her sisters, Ival Lou Thomas and Shirley Baker; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Glenda was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Ragsdale; her parents, Oliver and Myrtle James; daughter, Leisha Aguero; son, James Ragsdale; grandson, Anthony Ray; granddaughters, Amanda Fowler and Aleisha Bishop; brother, Rayburn James; and sisters, Obera Mosley, Othera Thorton, Betty Robinson, Freda Swann, and Ruth Hogue. Pall Beare’s will be Eric Speegle, Ethan Ragsdale, Kyle Sansing, Kerry Ridgway, Mark Domenigoni, and Cody Lamb. Horary Beare’s will be Lindsey Ragsdale and Carson Boone.
