Linda Joan Romans Allen, 85, of Leighton, AL, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2026. Visitation will be held at Spring Valley Church of Christ on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 from 11:00am-1:00pm, with the funeral following. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Ellen Romans; sister, Syble Jefferys; brothers, Archie Romans and Russell Romans.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, David Martin Dwight Allen; sons, Gregory Allen (Melanie), Brian Allen, Jason Allen (Kim); grandchildren, Zachary Allen (Caitlin), Tiffany Shifflet (Michael), Victoria Scott (Andrew), Lauren Allred (Brent), Shelby Thaxton, great-grandchildren; Rosalyn Allen, Logan Allen.
Linda was a 1958 graduate of Colbert County High School. She was the epitome of a Christian woman. A faithful member of the Spring Valley Church of Christ, Linda spent her life caring for her family. The love she shared will continue with those she touched.
