David Lynn Reeves, age 68, departed this earthly life on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Diversicare Health and Rehabilitation Center in Ripley.
In keeping with David’s wishes, he will be cremated, and no services are scheduled at this time.
Born December 15, 1957, in Memphis, Tennessee, David was the son of Mr. Weldon Reeves and the late Martha Evelyn Rodgers Reeves. He was a graduate of Kingsbury High School in Memphis and, earlier in life, worked in the construction industry throughout the Memphis area.
In addition to his father, those left to share his memory include his two sisters, Evelyn Diane Huddleston and Barbara Jo Puentes, his nephews, Michael Shane Huddleston, William Shaun Huddleston, and Jeremy Florence Puentes, and his niece, Lindsey Alayna Carroll, along with his friends from the nursing home, especially his best friend, Andy Richardson, who referred to David as “Big Dog” because of how he always bragged about things he did in the past, and the staff of Gentiva hospice.
