Doyle Wayne Mitchell, 89, of Ripley passed away Monday, August 31, 2026 at his residence. Visitation will begin at 12 PM Thursday at Grace Baptist Church, where he was a member, with funeral services to follow at 2 PM. Interment with military honors will be in Ripley Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Mitchell, a retired electrician, was a United States Army Korean War Veteran.
The Husband of Joann Kiestler Mitchell, he is survived by a daughter Lisa Depperschmidt (Andy) of Atoka; a son Jeff Mitchell (Hollie) of Atoka; 3 sisters Gloria Crook of Ripley, Brenda Hubbard of Camden, and Doris Hollenshead of Houma, LA and 6 grandchildren.
