Eiler Samuel Derseweh, age 75, of Greenbrier, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2026 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at Main Street Church of Christ at 12 Noon with Brother Barry Throneberry and Brother Joe Rushing officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery with Chance Derseweh, Aaron Shelton, Brixton Adkerson, Dalton Kerr, Jackson Mapes and Will Kerr serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 from 4-8pm and again on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 from 10am until the hour of service at 12 Noon.
Mr. Derseweh was born November 8, 1950 in Old Hickory, TN to the late George Samuel and Gladys Dickens Derseweh. He was the owner and operator of Derseweh Construction and was a member of Main Street Church of Christ. He loved people, especially his grandchildren and family, and was always helping others, and he loved the Titans football. He loved music and playing his guitar, and wrote several songs.
In addition to his parents Mr. Derseweh is preceded in death by his sisters, Edith Brown and Sandra Derseweh and his brother, David Charles Derseweh. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Deborah Wilkerson Derseweh; son and daughter-in-law, Cory and Christy Derseweh; daughters and sons-in-law, Angie and Chad Shelton and Cindy and Jimbo Kerr; his sister, Linda Derseweh; grandchildren, Chance (Breanna), Aaron (Taylor), Mackenzie (Brixton), Dalton (Grace), Morgan (Jackson) and Will; and great-grandchildren, Aubree, Easton, and Brooks, with one on the way.
