Macie Garrett, age 24, of Haleyville, Alabama passed away August 23, 2026 in University of California Davis Medical Center. She was born to Shawn Kimbrough and Heather Westbrook May 15, 2002. Macie was known to have a fondness for music, especially rap music. She had an outgoing and bubbly personality. Most would say Macie had never met a stranger and could make a friend of anyone. Her number one priority was always the love for her children and family. Gathering of Friends and Family will be Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, Alabama. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Brother Rickey White will officiate. Macie is survived by her husband, Hunter Garrett; children, Neeson Devan Garrett, Nova Brooke Garrett; mother, Heather Westbrook; father, Shawn Kimbrough; sisters, Natalie Ward, Kenslie Kimbrough; grandparents, Shirlene Kimbrough, David Kimbrough; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Debbie Wilson; grandfather, Joe Westbrook; uncle, Billy Westbrook; and great-grandparents, Imo Benefield, and Bill Benefield.
