Obituary of William Earl Hawkins Sr. William Earl Hawkins Sr., 75, of Corinth, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2026 surrounded by his loving family.

William, affectionately known as Bill, was born in Saginaw, Michigan, to William and Verna Hawkins. The family later relocated to Cherokee, Alabama, where he was raised.

Bill attended Cherokee Vocational High School and went on to build a career as a heavy equipment operator and steel mill worker. He was known for his hardworking nature, dedication to his family, and the lasting impact he made on the lives of those around him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Verna Hawkins; his sister, Sophia Haley; and his grandson, Noah Jones, III.

He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Sharon Hawkins; daughter, Stephanie Robinson; sons, William Hawkins, II, Kyle Hawkins, and Trevor Hawkins; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Alvin Fant; and a generous circle of extended family and friends who will continue to honor and remember his life.

Bill’s memory will live on through the family he loved, the friendships he treasured, and the many lives he touched throughout his 75 years.

A memorial service will be held at 12pm on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at Memorial Funeral Home.

Family and friends are invited to come together to celebrate Bill’s life and share memories of a man who will be deeply missed.
