DEKALB COUNTY-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a two-vehicle accident that has taken the life of one man and sent another man to hospital with injuries:
“A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 4:20 a.m. Saturday, August 29, has claimed the life of a Dawson man.
Noah C. Parr, 19, was fatally injured when the 2002 Dodge Dakota pickup he was driving was struck by the 2017 Toyota Tacoma pickup driven by Cody A. King, 30, of Collinsville. Parr was pronounced deceased at the scene.
King was transported to DeKalb Regional Medical Center in Fort Payne for medical treatment.
The crash occurred on Alabama 75 near the 76 mile marker, approximately one mile north of Lakeview city limits, in DeKalb County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
