Richard “Warren” Graeff, 72, of Springfield, TN passed away on August 22, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. Arrangements have been made at Poland Thompson Funeral Home in Cameron, MO on August 31, 2026. Visitation at 10am, Funeral Service at 11am, followed by burial at Osborn Evergreen Cemetery in Osborn, MO.
Warren was born on October 20, 1953 to Richard Lee and Beverly Ann Graeff (née White) at Missouri Methodist hospital in St Joseph, MO. He was their first child of three, Eva Katherine Owen (née Graeff) and Randall Lee Graeff.
Warren graduated from Osborn High School in 1971, Northwest Missouri University with a BS in 1975, and University of Colorado with a MS in 2003.
Warren served in the Peace Corp in Tunisia and taught high school Agriculture Education in Highland, KS. For most of his career, he worked as an agricultural lender in many managerial and leadership roles, including serving on several boards, such as Future Farmers of America, until his retirement in 2024. Warren enjoyed volunteering, most recently with Christian Friends of New Americans in St. Louis. His hobbies included carpentry and stained glass work.
Warren was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Beverly Graeff, and his son-in-law Christopher Stice.
He is survived by his daughter, Nicole Stice (née Dodson); his son, Asa Graeff and wife, Lee; five grandchildren, Jace Dodson, Anna Dodson, Ella Stice, Brogan Stice, and Avi Graeff; and his siblings, Kathy Owen (née Graeff) and Randy Graeff; and their families, including his nieces, nephews, and extended family members, whom he loved dearly.
