Lee “L.A.” Frasure, affectionately known as Stick, passed away peacefully at his home in the Randolph community on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at the age of 87. Born on October 31, 1938, to Carl and Evie Peters Frasure, L.A. dedicated his life to farming and raising cattle. He cherished spending time with his friends at the Huddle House, and enjoyed hunting and fishing, but above all, he loved his family dearly.
He is survived by his children, Vicki McCormick (Tim), Nancy Watts (Rocky), and Annette Mooneyhan (Joe); his grandchildren, Justin Garrison (Angie), Jordan Watts (Lauren), Danielle Garrison, Amity Foster (Dusty), Kim Watts, and Jason Watts (Ashley), and his great-grandchildren, Jakob Garrison, Katelynn Scribner, Dayton Foster, Lynlee Foster, Zaylee Scribner, Denim Foster, Frasure Watts, Sawyer Nelson, Camryn Nelson (Jake), Lakyn Moody, Bailey Watts (Emaleigh), Conner Watts (Kristin), and John Riley Watts; He is also survived by his sister, Melba Warren, and his sister-in-law, Sue Belk.
L.A. was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara Frasure, his parents, Carl and Evie Frasure, his brother, Spencer Frasure, and his sisters, Louise Douglas, Nell Walton, Marie Douglas, Estelle Waldo, Josie Allen, Syble Patton, and Lula Allen.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at 12PM at Baldwin Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc, with Bro. Bobby Cobb and Bro. Rocky Watts officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 5-8PM and again on Wednesday morning from 11AM until service time. Burial will follow in Randolph Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Justin Garrison, Jordan Watts, Jakob Garrison, Jason Watts, Dusty Foster, Dayton Foster, Denim Foster, and Frasure Watts. His nephews will serve as honorary pallbearers.
