Kenneth Blair Comer, 86, of Arley, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2026 at his residence.Family will be receiving friends at First Baptist of Arley, on Thursday, August 27, from 10 until 11 a.m., with Kilgore-Green Funeral Home directing. Funeral service will follow at 11 a.m., at First Baptist of Arley, with burial at Walker Memory Gardens. Dr. Roger White will officiate.
Kenneth proudly served in the Air Force and worked in the Apollo Space Program in the control room of Cape Canaveral, FL. He loved his family, fishing and boating. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
He was preceded by his parents, Emmette Comer and Laura McGlaun, stepmother, Beatrice Comer and brother, Philip Comer.
He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Linda Joy Comer; children, Carol Ann Comer, Susan Jane Pulliam (Timothy) and Kenneth Blair Comer Jr. (Lisa); grandchildren, Jennifer Comer, Taylor Pulliam (Tayna’), Tessa Kiser (Jackson), Kacey Tran (Trung), Kenneth “Trey” Comer III (Holly), Zachary Comer and Phillip Comer; great grandchildren, Ethan Tran and Alden Blair Comer; sister, Kathleen Waters (Bobby) and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
