Steve Ward, age 67 of Haleyville, Alabama passed away August 19, 2026. He was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 23, 2026 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at New Prospect Baptist Church, Haleyville, AL. Funeral service will begin at 3:00 p.m. with Dr. Ron Horton officiating. Burial will follow in Enon Cemetery, Lynn, AL.
Mr. Ward is survived by his son, Colton Roger (Mariam) Ward; sisters, Brenda Gail Janes and Karen (Tim) Bryant; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, William Ellis Ward; mother, Lillie Alean Ward; sister, Barbara Nell (Marty) Clark; brothers, Roger Dale (Vicki) Ward and Dennis Ellis Ward; and brother in law, Donald Janes.
