Harry Christopher Rumble, Sr., 86, of Leighton, passed away on August 19, 2026. The visitation will be 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Morrison Funeral Home in Tuscumbia. The funeral will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel with Bro. Mark Mayfield officiating the service. The burial will be at Hopewell Cemetery in Leighton.
Harry proudly served in the U.S. Army. He worked as a machinist at TVA and was a devout Alabama fan. He was a Master Mason, and a member of the Shriners, the York Rites, and Knights of Columbus. He was also a proud volunteer firefighter and EMT at LaGrange (East Colbert Rescue Squad)
He is survived by his children, Dwayne Rumble (Linda), Chris Rumble (Jennifer), JoAnn Saint (Phillip Reppond), Gary Rumble, Justin Rumble (Jodie), sister, Bobby Rumble Wells; grandchildren, Jessica Vigil, Ryan Saint (Whitney), Meagan Rumble, Lauren Nolan (Riley), Courtney Terry (Blake), Carissa Bowling (Russ), Chelsey Rumble (Melanie), Cody Rumble (Destiney); great-grandchildren, D.J., Trey, Alex, Kaycee, Meadow, Rhett, Hollyn, Caleb, Noah, Liam, Zoe, Blake, Michael, Matthew, Belle, Mason; great-great-grandson, Eli; and honorary granddaughter, Kimmy Brazzel.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Rumble; grandson, Corey Rumble; great-grandson, Desmond Vigil; parents, Wilbur and Annie (Buxton) Rumble; brother, Victor Rumble; and sisters, Pamala Baggett, Betty Potts.
The pallbearers will be Justin Rumble, Cody Rumble, DJ Sutton, Blake Terry, Blake Rumble, and Russell Bowling.
