Patricia Jane Horne Killen, age 87, of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, surrounded by her family.
She was native of Summertown, TN, devoted to her family, her community, and was of the Methodist faith. Jane was known for her kindness, strength, and unwavering love for those around her. She shared 67 wonderful years of marriage with her husband, RL (Ronnie), and built a legacy centered on family and love.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Ronnie Lee Killen; her parents, James Allison “Jim” Horne and Janie Lou “Topsy” Horne; siblings, Robert Luther Horne, Billie Gene Bentley, and Katherine Sue Treadway, and loved ones who welcomed her into eternal rest.
Jane is survived by her four daughters, Tina Mann (Steve) of Lawrenceburg, TN, Rhonda Crews (Dan) of Warrensburg, MO, Marsha Lanning (Tim) of Leoma, TN, and Tonya Killen of Lawrenceburg, TN. She also leaves behind five grandchildren, Keely Story (Aaron), Dylan Crews (Shauna), Lindsay Bishop (Greg), Will Lanning, and Ashlee Seamons (Mac). Her memory will be cherished by her thirteen great-grandchildren, Alexa Richardson (Brayden), Jase Bishop, Jack Story, Gordon Crews, Phoebe Crews, Luke Bishop, Sloane Story, Beau Bishop, Coen Womble, Willa Seamons, Macley Seamons, Wrenley Seamons, and Austin Seamons. She is also survived by several cousins; nieces; and nephews. Jane also leaves behind her dear friend, Melba Brown.
Jane’s greatest joy was her family. She will be remembered for her loving heart, gentle spirit, and the lasting impact she made on everyone who knew her.
Her family and friends will forever treasure the memories they shared with her.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Friday, August 21, 2026, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Friday, August 21, 2026, with Lewis Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at Mimosa Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in her honor
