Whitney Elaine Lovelace, 34, passed away Monday, August 17, 2026, in Memphis, TN. She was born in Corinth, MS, to Samuel Mark Lovelace and Lisa Dawn Whitney. She was of the Baptist faith and loved making the most of life. She especially cherished her son, Wyatt, doing all the fun things with him that she could. She had a deep love for animals, enjoyed horseback riding, caring for her horses, and tending to the farm animals. She worked as a registered nurse at the West Tennessee State Penitentiary in Henning, Tennessee.
Funeral services will be Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, MS. Visitation will be Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home. Burial will be in Forest Grove Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS, will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her son, Samuel Wyatt Cook; her father, Mark Lovelace (Jennifer); her mother, Lisa Lovelace; one sister, Kimberly Brooke Storment (Brad Otts); and three nieces, Brooklyn, Ryleigh and Cali.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, S.A. and Evelyn Poole, Ann Bearden and Jerry Lovelace.
