Funeral service for Christine Allen, 91, will be Sunday, August 23, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness with Elders of the Kingdom Hall officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Hartselle City Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, August 23, 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness on New Center Road.
Ms. Allen passed away on Monday, August 17, 2026 at her residence. She was born February 3, 1935, in Morgan County, to Lewis Lampkin and Madgie Haraway Lampkin.
Ms. Allen was raised as a Jehovah’s Witness, loved to cook, and loved feeding anyone and everyone in the Community. She loved to fish, enjoyed family gatherings, loved to attend the Kingdom Hall, and the assemblies there at the church she loved so much.
Ms. Allen also was employed as the Supervisor of Housekeeping at the Mutual Savings Life Insurance Company, prior to her retirement. She was the last of 11 siblings.
Preceding her in death were her ex-husband- Robert Lee Allen, a son- Darrel Allen, and two grandchildren – Joey Devon Benson and Teketa Nicole Allen.
