Roger Edwin Magouirk, 61, of Anniston, Alabama, passed away from this life on Friday, August 7, 2026. Roger was born on July 8, 1965, and was a proud graduate of Walter Wellborn High School, Class of 1983.
Roger was a loving soul who loved with all of his heart. He was a man who never gave up on his dreams and never stopped caring for the people he loved. Family meant everything to Roger, and he leaves behind a lifetime of memories that will forever be treasured by those who knew and loved him. His kindness, love, strength, and unforgettable spirit will live on through his family and all those whose lives he touched.
Roger was preceded in death by his beloved son, Stephen Derrick Magouirk; his father, Wallace Magouirk; his mother, Bertha Nell Magouirk; his brother, Ricky Magouirk; brother-in-law, Lewis Whitlock; and nephews, Adam Magouirk and Dawson Boone. Also two Niece’s Haley Mayfeild and Madison Irvin
Those left to cherish Roger’s memory include his loving wife, Rebecca Magouirk; his daughter, Shelby Magouirk; his sons, Brent Scott and Tristian Magouirk; his siblings, Ralph Magouirk (Sue), Robin Whitlock, and Rachel Magouirk ; sister in law Judy Magouirk and his three beloved grandchildren, Aden, Nashya, and Kia. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
Roger’s life was a gift to those around him. He was a husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend whose love knew no limits. Though his time on this earth has come to an end, the love he gave and the memories he created will never fade.
He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A service honoring the life of Roger Edwin Magouirk will be held on Sunday, August 16, 2026, in the chapel at:

Anniston, Alabama
The service will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Family and friends are invited to come together to celebrate Roger’s life, share memories, and honor the loving man he was.
