Mr. Charles ‘Chuck’ Clyde Alexander of Madison, AL, age 65, passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2026. Chuck was born in Winfield AL, to Ray and Mary Alexander. He was a graduate of Winfield City High School and a proud graduate of Auburn University. Chuck was an electrical engineer throughout his career in both Nashville, TN, and Madison, AL. Married to Lydia Campbell, the love of his life, they had a daughter, Janie. They were a family who shared their home and their hearts with many, sharing their Christian faith. Madison Bible Church was an important part of Chuck’s life. He served as a deacon and considered its members as family. His humble, giving, and selfless spirit shone through even in some very trying times. He was an inspiration to many; he loved his wife, Lydia, dearly, and loved his daughter, his grandchildren, his friends, his church and his God.

He is survived by his daughter, Janie DeWitt (Vince); his grandchildren; his sister, Jill Satcher of Northport, AL; his brother, Tom Alexander (Cindy) of Havelock, NC; sisters-in-law, Sarah Smith (Jerry), and Phoebe Pate (Mitchell); brothers-in-law, Stott Campbell (Janet) and Louis Hanks of Fort Payne, AL; and nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Chuck was preceded in death by his wife, Lydia Campbell Alexander; his parents, Ray and Mary Alexander; and sister-in-law, Elizabeth Hanks (Louis).

Funeral services for Chuck will be held on Monday, August 10, 2026, at 11:00 am at Madison Bible Church with visitation being held from 10:00 am until 11:00 am (service time) at the church. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 pm on Monday, August 10, 2026, at Mountain View Memory Gardens Cemetery in Fort Payne, AL.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Madison Bible Church or SPARC of Tennessee (sparctn.org) in Chuck’s memory.
