Willard Neal Banks, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2026.
Neal was the devoted husband of Norma Pearl Banks for almost 55 years. He was a loving father to Patrick Banks (Scarlett) and Phillip Banks (Tosha), and a proud grandfather to Camryn Banks, Reese Banks, Brody Banks, and Jaxon Banks. His grandchildren were truly his world, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
Neal was the son of the late Willard and Mattie Banks. He is survived by his sisters, Dorothy Linderman, Kathy Cerello, and Debbie Banks. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Bobbie Sue Gibson, Shelby Boger, Harold Banks, Darryl Banks, and Frankie Banks.
Neal dedicated more than 30 years of his life to 3M before retiring. He was a talented handyman who could fix just about anything and enjoyed woodworking and karaoke. He was known for his willingness to lend a helping hand, his many skills, and the joy he found in the simple pleasures of life.
Above all, Neal will be remembered for his love of family. His grandchildren held a special place in his heart, and the memories he created with them will be treasured forever.
Neal leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, hard work, and cherished memories. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
