Karmyn Lee Tipps

   Karmyn Lee Tipps, 79, of Athens, AL; passed away Saturday August 1, 2026, at Athens Limestone Hospital.

She was born May 21, 1947, in Virginia to Homer Tipps and Mary Elizabeth Tipps.

Miss Tipps is preceded into death by her parents.

She is survived by one brother Clarke Tipps (Lisa) of Madison, AL; one sister Elizabeth Gordon (Thomas) of Athens; one niece Caroline Tipps.

Miss Tipps served as a social worker for the State of Alabama DHR department for many years.
