Funeral services for Mr. Robert Earl Pitts, age 64, are scheduled for 2 PM on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill. Interment will follow in Pafford Scotts Hill Cemetery. Mr. Pitts passed away Friday, June 21, 2013 in Nashville. He was born March 29, 1949. He was very active in the Scotts Hill Community, working as the Parks & Recreation Supervisor, and an active member of Cornerstone Church in Scotts Hill. He was a founding member of Station 30 Fire Dept., an avid deer hunter, and enjoyed stock car racing. He was preceded in death by one brother, James Douglas. Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Mrs. Donna Perry Pitts, two sons, Rodney Pennington and Eric (Kari) Pitts, his daughter, Tonya (Jim) May, his parents, J. C. and Margie Gordon Pitts, one sister, Betty (Danny) Adkisson and two grandchildren, Jamison Douglas Garner and Kele Pennington.
