Michael Trevor Arthur was born December 11, 1953 in Barbados to the late Lionel Rodney Arthur and Sheila Protain Arthur. He was united in marriage to the former Stephanie Dawn Phang on March 24, 1974. These two would be blessed with three children, Simone, Robert, and Chandra. Mike was an avid reader continuously educating himself. He was a person blessed to be able to work with his hands, enjoying building things. In his younger years, his artistic side was evident through his artwork and paintings. He was a business man, formerly owning Harvest Time Natural Food, where he was able to spend time helping people and talking with people. He loved to spend time with people, having countless conversations that would result in lifelong friendships. The reason he enjoyed spending time talking with people was the opportunity to share the gospel. While he enjoyed many things, his faith was the cornerstone of his existence and gave him purpose and hope as he navigated this life. Perhaps it was because of his faith he enjoyed spending time walking, spending time in God’s creation. Mike was a faithful member of the Seventh Day Adventist faith. He faithfully attended services at the Martin Memorial Seventh Day Adventist Church. On the Sabbath Day of Saturday, July 25, 2026, at 1:23 PM, Michael Trevor Arthur fell asleep in Jesus, trusting in his Lord and Savior to raise him up at the first resurrection. He was 72 years, 7 months and 14 days.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Stephanie Dawn Arthur; their three children, Simone Arthur of Chicago, IL; Robert Arthur of Chattanooga, TN; Chandra Arthur also of Chattanooga, TN; Michael’s older brother, Cuthbert Arthur; one sister, Myrtle E.
