Thomas Jett, age 58, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, July 26, 2026, at Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, TN.
Thomas was born August 21, 1967, in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, to the late Leonard and Beatrice Cozart Jett. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Cynthia Jett in 2024.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years Ann Kohout Jett; daughters Tori Davis (Austin Davis), Heather Jett, and Ashley Fleming (Matt); brother Travis Jett; sisters Tammy Baxter (Phillip) and Tina Clifford; five grandchildren Brayden, Ben, Maddie, Parker, and Olivia; several nieces and nephews; special life-long friends Randy Clark and Justin White.
He was a dedicated machine operator for Berry Plastics (Amcor) and proudly served his country in the United States Army. He found great joy and peace in the outdoors, especially while hunting and fishing. Those who knew him will remember the simple pleasures that brought him happiness, and it is a comfort to know that he spent his final day doing something he truly loved—fishing with a friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him especially his family and his friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be announced by the family at a later date.
Hunting and fishing were his passion. The family respectfully requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made in his memory to the Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency (TWRA), 5107 Edmondson Pike, Ellington Agricultural Center, Nashville, TN 37211, or online at https://www.tn.gov/twra.
London Funeral Home and Crematory is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
