Karla Renee Ruf, age 44, of Athens, Alabama, passed away at her home on July 23rd, 2026.
Born on December 30th, 1981, Karla was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend whose kindness and caring spirit touched the lives of many. She cherished the time spent with her family and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Justin Ruf; her beloved sons, Jaden Ruf and Jonas Ruf; her mother, Lori Fielder; her siblings, Craig Fielder (Loren), Kevin Fielder (Jackie), and Carson Zupancich (Nick); as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will forever treasure her memory.
Karla was preceded in death by her father, Bernie Fielder.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 27th, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home.
Though her time on earth was far too short, Karla’s love and memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
