Helen Ruby (Lockhart) Rowe,of Huntsville AL, formerly from Iaeger, W.Va, went to be with the Lord Wed, July 22, 2026.Ms. Rowe was truly devoted to all of her family. She was absolutely adored by everyone that knew her. She loved listening to southern gospel music and Elvis. She had a sweet tooth and could find her with snickers and a pepsi at any given moment. She was a lover of Christmas, if you entered her home around the festive holiday you would see tinsel and glitter with stockings and snow. She enjoyed watching the birds fly and hum a tune at her door, she especially loved the cardinals.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dave and Madeline Lockhart, brother, Roger and her beloved husband of 66 years, Donald Rowe.
She is survived by her sisters, Shirley Faul and Mary Sue Steele. Her adored daughters, Teresa Jernigan (Mike), Linda Turner(David), Donna Sullivan(Jerry), Sheila Pack(Eddie), and Kristina McPeters(Darryl)and several honorary daughters, her 15 treasured grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grands.
Services will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home. Visitation Sunday July 26,2026 from 6-8 with the funeral service, officiated by Bro. Jimmy Brantley on Monday July 27, 2026 at 11am.
