Funeral service for Betty Kay Bomar Callahan age 72 of Hartselle will be Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at 3:00pm at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Center Springs Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 2:00pm until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Callahan, who was born March 9, 1954, in Marshall County to Willie Bill Bomar and Flora Mable Key Bomar, died on Monday, July 20, 2026, at Decatur Morgan Hospital.
She was a member of Barnett’s Chapel Church, loved reading her Bible and really enjoyed her family and taking care of her grandchildren. Prior to her health getting bad, she worked as a nursing assistant at Falkville Healthcare Center.
