Funeral service for Terry Lynn Taylor, age 60, of Hartselle, will be Wednesday, June 26, 2013, 2:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Irwin and Rev. Walter Blackman officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 25, 2013, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Limestone Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Taylor, who died Sunday, June 23, 2013, at Parkway Medical Center, was born February 3, 1953, in Limestone County, to Leonard Lester Taylor and Geneva Holt Taylor. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Ronald Taylor.
His guardians were his brother, Carl L Taylor (Hazel) of Hartselle, and niece, Kathy Irwin (Michael) of Decatur. He is also survived by two other brothers, Lester M. Taylor of Decatur, and Joe B. Taylor of Murfreesboro, TN; one sister, Betty Marie Creecy of Pulaski, TN; and numerous other family members and friends.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
The family would like to send special thanks to his extended family at Volunteers of America for the special loving care he was given in the past years.
