Angela Ruth Wright, 52, passed away July 19, 2026, at the Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. She worked as a CNA at NMMC in Pontotoc for several years and Mocking Bird Personal Care Home in Booneville and as a substitute teacher in several school districts before her health declined. She was a loving wife and mother. She was faithful Christian member of First Baptist Church in Pontotoc.
Services will be at 10:00am Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at First Baptist Church in Pontotoc. Dr. Ken Hester will officiate. Burial will follow in the Oak Forest Cemetery. Tutor Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors, husband, Paul Wright; son, Glenn Wright; siblings, Raymond Palmer (Lilibeth), Sam Palmer, Tom Palmer (Daisy), Janet Robbins and Nancy Peren (Joel); nieces and nephews, Alyssa Washington (Bryon), Valerie Palmer, J.T. Palmer, Haley Palmer, Anthony Peren and Dulce Peren.
Preceded in death by, parents, Rev. Ray and Barbara Palmer.
Visitation, 9:00am until service time, Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at First Baptist Church.
