Funeral service for Kenneth Dwayne Smith, 71, will be Friday, July 24, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Brent Oakes officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, July 24, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Smith died on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born February 25, 1955, in Morgan County to Hugh Dwayne and Donna Gail Jones Wynn. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Hartselle and retired from General Motors after 30 years as a machine operator.
He was preceded in death by his father, Hugh Dwayne Smith, mother, Donna Gail Jones Wynn and a sister, Rhonda Wynn. Kenneth loved Alabama football, hunting, and fishing. He was a devoted husband, father, and granddaddy.
