Katherine Irene Lancaster Perry was born March 29, 1948 in Collinwood, TN to the union of the late Prince and Myrtle Wilson Lancaster. She was united in marriage to Nolan Perry on August 17, 1973. This union was blessed with two children, Jason and Kimberly. Mrs. Perry was of the Pentecostal Faith and most recently attended St. Joseph Freewill Baptist Church. She was her happiest when she was in the kitchen, she had a great talent and love for cooking. With family values near and dear, she especially loved to cook for her family and then spend time with them all gathered at her table. Many will remember her voice and love for singing. Mrs. Perry departed this life on Friday, July 17, 2026 in Lawrenceburg, TN for her eternal reward at the age of 78 years, 3 months and 19 days.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of almost 53 years, Nolan Perry of St. Joseph, TN; one son, Jason Perry and wife Rachel of Horse Branch, KY; one daughter, Kimberly Perry Lewis of St. Joseph, TN two sisters, Thelma Pace and husband Rayburn of Leighton, AL; Barbara White of Sheffield, AL; one brother, Billy Lancaster and wife Betty of Petersburg, TN; three grandchildren, Jarrett Lewis; Braxton Perry; Caleb Perry. She is also survived by two great grandchildren, Beckett and Isabella Perry.
