Tina Marie Staggs Teeftaller Hudgins was born December 07, 1964 in Lawrenceburg, TN to the late Thomas Junior and Shirley Jo Clayton Staggs. When she was able, Tina attended the Collinwood Church of God. She was perhaps her happiest when she was spending time with her family on the beach. Tina also enjoyed reading and listening to music. However, she will be remembered for her loving smile and friendly demeanor that greeted everyone who entered the Waynesboro Quik-Mart. Tina was sure to try to make your day better even when she was not having a good day herself. She was always available for a conversation and to try to help brighten someone’s day. It did not take long talking to her, she would begin talking about her daughter Jana and her own brother and sisters. She departed this life on Friday, July 17, 2026 in Jackson, TN making her stay in this life some 61 years, 7 months, and 10 days.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Jana Beth Teeftaller of Collinwood, TN; one brother, Teddy Clayton and wife Patricia of Waynesboro, TN; four sisters, Debbie Sherrill and husband Joe of Drayton, ND; Lisa Jones and husband Casey; Kim McCurry both of Waynesboro, TN; Brandi King and husband Neal of Hohenwald, TN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Christopher Staggs.
Visitation with Tina’s family will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Bates-Love Funeral and Cremation Chapel
A graveside memorial service will be held at a later time at Shawnettee Cemetery with Casey Jones officiating.
