The event will begin with a parade honoring America through the Decades,  beginning at 10 am on Main Street in front of the Court House. Following the parade, an America 250 program will be held on the steps of the Court House with patriotic music, recitations and special remarks.

Program speakers include Tuscumbia Councilman Roderick Metcalf, Dr. Jimmy Shaw, pastor of First Baptist Church in Tuscumbia, The First Baptist Church choir, a recitation of The Gettysburg Address by Rusty Trapp, and the National Anthem by Matt Burcham. Colbert County Sheriff Eric Balentine will serve free hotdogs on the Court House grounds at the conclusion of the program.

The event is free and open to the public.
