Terry Lynn Beecham, 68, of Reagan, Tennessee, passed away on July 3, 2026, in Lexington, Tennessee. He was born on November 11, 1957, in Lexington, to the late Howard and Betty Beecham.
Terry is survived by his sons, John Beecham and Billy Harris; his grandsons: Jonathon (Catrina) Beecham, Hunter (Natalie) Beecham, Harley Beecham, and Dusty Harris; his granddaughter, Kenna Harris; and his cherished great-grandchildren: Jordan, Corbyn, Sutton, Addy, and Gracelynn, with another great-grandson, Hayden, expected soon.
He is also survived by his sisters: Elaine Beecham, Linda (Terry) Carrington, Lisa (Kenneth) Tharp, and Kathy Stafford; his brother, Larry Beecham; his aunt, Maenell King; his uncle, Bill Johnson; his sister-in-law, Deborah Beecham; and many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his brothers, Jimmy Beecham, and Michael Beecham; his brother-in-law, Jimmie Stafford; and his grandson, Jayden Beecham.
One of Terry’s greatest joys and proudest titles was being “Papaw.” He was devoted to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and could almost always be found holding one of the babies. Family was the center of his life, and he never hesitated to lend a helping hand whenever someone needed him.
He enjoyed playing cards most weekends with his family and friends (Larry, Tyler, Debbie, and Cathy A), fishing, and trying to win that POWERBALL! He especially enjoyed aggravating his nephew, Tyler.
Terry spent many years as a hardworking employee in local factories before enjoying a well-earned retirement. During retirement, he treasured every opportunity to spend time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, making memories that his family will cherish forever. His kind heart, dependable nature, and unconditional love for his family will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing Terry’s legacy of love, generosity, and devotion to his family will live on in all who knew and loved him.
Funeral service is scheduled for 4:00 PM on Monday, July 6, in the Chapel of Pafford Funeral Home of Scotts Hill. Visitation with the family will be on Sunday, July 5, 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM, and on Monday, July 6, from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM. Burial will follow in Center Hill Cemetery.
