Chesley “Jehu” Hester
11/26/1954 – 7/1/2026
Jehu Hester, 71, went to be with his Heavenly Father on July 1, 2026. Jehu was born on November 26, 1954, to Chess and Ollie Sue Hester. He himself was raised in Franklin County and loved raising his own family here.
Jehu was preceded in death by his parents, Chess and Ollie Sue Hester, and sister, Joy Ann Hester.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Deborah Horton Hester.
Children, Carrie Dover (Marcus), Will Hester (Nicole), Summer Hester, and Mollie Hester.
Grandchildren, Walker Dover, Sawyer Dover, Dixie Dover, Grayson Thorpe, Brennon Thorpe, Madison Hester and Will Hester Jr.
Sister, Edith Hester, and niece, Suzy Kirkland.
A service will be held on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at Russellville First Methodist Church. Visitation with the family will be from 2:00 – 4:00 in the afternoon, with the funeral beginning at 4:00.
In place of flowers, in memory of Jehu’s love for family, please take your family out to dinner and enjoy time together.
