
Gaddis Lee Prestage, 59, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2026, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo after a sudden illness. He was born October 11, 1966, to Kelly Wade and Linda Loden Prestage. He was 1985 graduate of Itawamba Agricultural High School where he excelled in football, basketball, and baseball. He worked in the automobile industry for many years. He loved people and had a huge heart. A lover of all sports, Lee enjoyed watching all sporting events, especially when his family members were involved. His greatest delight was being “Pap” to his grandchildren.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Sunday, July 5, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Tyler Dossett officiating. Burial will be in Itawamba Memorial Gardens.
Lee is survived by his mother, Linda Loden Prestage; his daughter, Abby Lee Prestage Whitmon (Landon) of Corinth; his beloved grandchildren, Camden Cole Whitmon and Calla Caroline Whitmon; one brother, Kelly Wade “Chip” Prestage, Jr. (Sabrina); and two sisters, Kathy West (Randy) and Melanie Cleveland (V.M.); five beloved nephews and nieces, Chance Prestage (Kayla), Jessica Dozier (Clay), Ethan Flurry (Catherine), Noel Orr (Ricky), and Alex Lindley (Andrew); and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family members, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father; and his grandparents, Gaddis and Marie Prestage and Ebb and Pauline Loden.
Pallbearers will be Chance Prestage, Cayden Prestage, Zett Prestage, Ethan Flurry, Clay Dozier, and Andrew Lindley.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until service time Sunday at McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Lee’s memory to Itawamba Crossroads Ranch, 716 Airport Road, Fulton, MS 38843.
