Celebrate America’s 250th Birthday In Florence

FLORENCE– The City of Florence is joining the national and state America 250 observance ahead of the United States’ 250th anniversary in 2026. The city’s official theme, “One Nation, Many Stories,” highlights the voices, heritage, and shared history of the community.

 Friday, July 3, 2026-First Fridays in Downtown Florence (Presented by Bank Independent)
Court Street will be filled with:

Patriotic procession from the 300 Block of Court Street to the Coca-Cola Main Stage at Mobile Plaza
“One Nation, Many Stories” canvas display that takes you on a walk through the people, places, and moments that help tell Florence’s story. The Muscle Shoals National Heritage Area funded this project.
Vendors, food trucks, Kids Zone, community groups, downtown businesses, and more.
Live music from The Cadillacs, Kicks & Licks, and Summer Stock performers

Saturday, July 4, 2026 -Spirit of Freedom Celebration at McFarland Park
