Jerry Kimbrough, Sr., 72, of Woodville, Alabama, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2026, while surrounded by his loved ones.
Born on November 16, 1953, Jerry was the son of R. T. Kimbrough and Evie Kimbrough. He lived a life centered on family and will be remembered for the love he shared with those closest to him. He was preceded in death by his parents, R. T. Kimbrough and Evie Kimbrough, brothers Herbert Kimbrough, Delbert Kimbrough, and Jesse Kimbrough, and sisters Sally Thompson, Caladonia Bucchanan, Gracie Byram, Katie Harris and Leona Manley.
He is survived by his children: Jerry Kimbrough, Jr. (Maureen), Kristen Kimbrough Clark (Darren Cox), and Justin Kimbrough (Alisha). He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren: Tyler Clark (Nikki), Courtney Kimbrough, Mary Kimbrough, Breanna Kimbrough, Madison Kimbrough, Chloe Kimbrough, and Kassidy Cox. Jerry was also blessed with two great-granddaughters, Emerson Clark and Addison Clark (due August 2026). Jerry has two surviving sisters, Jeanette Snow, and Pernie Lowe, and several nieces and nephews.
Jerry’s legacy lives on through his family and the many memories they will forever cherish. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held at New Hope Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 from 5pm-8pm. Funeral service will be Thursday, July 2nd, 2026 at 1pm at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel and a graveside ceremony to follow at Paint Rock Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tyler Clark, Michael Byram, Bryan Hogeland, Eric Kimbrough, Larry Malone and Tommy Snow. Honorary Pallbearers will be LaVoid Byram, Don Snow, Artie Malone, Alan Kimbrough, Alan Kimbrough and Travis Davis.
