Jimmy Earl Daniels Jimmy Earl “Jed” Daniels, 49, passed away on June 25, 2026, at his home in Pontotoc, MS. Born on November 30, 1976, in New Albany, MS, Jed was a devoted pastor at Antioch Freewill Baptist Church, serving in pastoral ministry for 25 years. A man of deep faith, he dedicated his life to being the hands and feet of Jesus, ministering to people, and spreading love and kindness. In his free time, Jed enjoyed fishing, golfing, spending time with his family, and coaching football. He was a diehard Ole Miss fan and was known for his excellent fishing skills, rivaled only by his daughter, Keigan.

Jed is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Daniels, his sons, Connor Daniels, Colton Weeks (Ashley), and Chris Brown (Candy), his daughter, Keigan Daniels, his brother, Mark Daniels, his sisters, Rhonda Horton, Robin Roberson, and Regina Picart, his grandsons, Rider Brown and Tyson Meeks, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Shaunda Daniels, his mother, Nelda Fagan Daniels, his father, Thomas W. Fagan, and his grandparents, Ny Earl Daniels and Ola Ozennia Morris Daniels.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at 3PM at Antioch Freewill Baptist Church, with visitation on Saturday evening from 5-8PM and again on Sunday afternoon from 1PM until service time. Bro. Ralph Morrow will officiate, and burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Mark Daniels, Brett Morrow, Bradley Morrow, Brody Morrow, Nathan Tutor, and Joey Turner, with his nephews serving as honorary pallbearers.
